What is LENGST VEST?

Utvær is defined as a national heritage listed island.
All Islands around and including Utvær are protected bird reservoars and national park.

As the owner of the island I have concluded that I had to take responsibility and care for Utvær.

Therefore I decided to establish a business whose responsibility it is to protect and maintain this group of islands. I want to make sure it is looked after in the best possible way.

I cut the grass to prevent excessive growth of bush/etc. Next step is to prepard for sheep to be introduced to the islands.

A while ago I got the opportunity to purchase the old school house where people now can stay overnight as a holiday house. Another completed project is the creation of a public hiking track called Nordsjøløypa and this track surrounds Utvær.

I'm situated on Utvær most times from May to September.
